Thanks Nick! What is face/color for? Is there a runtime way to refer face/colors/1 face/colors/2 as face/color face/color-sel instead?

In not all, but many styles (widgets), face/color is used for the obvious color of the face: view layout [box [face/color: random 255.255.255]] I'm not sure I understand the other part of your question. At some point in your code, you'll need to change the color property of the intended object. Can you provide a code example in which that wouldn't possible?
